First off, sorry for the lack of communication the last couple of days. I have been busy trying to tie ends up at work as i have family out visiting at the moment and am taking some time off whilst they are here. The season is now at its end and there is no need for me to work every day now.

OooLala....it's Raining in Ibiza!

Yep after nigh on 3 months without rain it is falling with a vengence on this beautiful island i call home for the summer. I am quite glad really as it clears the air and gives me a chance to sit alone in my shop (now why would i want to be alone i hear you ask....hmm naughty thoughts and actions are all the more possible and most defainately exciting in an empty shop! :-p )

However it does make me a little sad...makes me think of home which depresses me for 2 reasons:

1) i miss my friends and family....I was reading my good friends Jan and Lala's online diary's today which inspired me to write this entry.

2) The weather is 99% cr*p at home which is pretty depressing dont you think?

So that, coupled with the doom and gloom in the news at the moment (I only have sky news out here so its probably amplified for me cos i have to listen to the same headlines over and over 20+ times a day!) i thought i would try and cheer you all up.

The global economic crisis certainly makes for worrying times and affects us all regardless of our interest in politics. There are lots of reasons to be pessimistic but i think thats the easy way out...its much harder to try and be optimistic when it seems like everything is going from bad to worse. Just typing this has lightened the sky a little and i think the sun is trying to pop out (a little like my nipples at the moment!)

I hope you will all join in my efforts to cheer myself up...if everyone tries to lift their mood just a little perhaps we can have an effect on those who aren't lucky enough to read my blog and see what you can! Stocktaking......?
